In 1999, he returned to Harbin after two trips to Beijing. During the nearby rural life, he created the “Second-hand Rose” band. In the same year, he first came into contact with contemporary art. In 2000, he entered Beijing and took his own “Second-hand Rose” culture, trying to "promote", so far, artistic creation began in 2007.
