In 1978, he was admitted to the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 1982, he was assigned to the Hebei Provincial Mass Art Museum. From 1998 to 2005, he taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is now a professional painter
